Proctored exams for university and professional candidates

A proctored exam is one supervised under controlled conditions so the awarding institution can rely on the result. For on-screen assessments that means a monitored workstation, identity checked against a document, and a record of the session returned to whoever set the paper.

Candidates come to us when their institution is elsewhere — an overseas university with a London-based student, a professional body without its own venue nearby, or a distance-learning provider that requires a supervised sitting rather than an open-book submission.

What your institution needs to send

Before a sitting can be booked, we need the institution's own conditions in writing: the permitted duration, what materials are allowed, how the paper or platform is accessed, identity requirements, and how the completed work and the invigilation report should be returned.

Institutions differ more than candidates expect. Assuming your provider's rules match another's is the most common cause of a sitting being rejected afterwards, which is a far worse outcome than an inconvenient booking.
