London Elite Exams is an independent examination entry service. We arrange GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-Level and other exam entries for private candidates, deal with the awarding body on your behalf, and secure your seat at a JCQ-registered partner examination centre in London. We are not a school, an awarding body or an exam centre.
Why we started
Private candidates — home-educated learners, students resitting a paper and adults returning to study — often find that booking an exam in London is harder than sitting it. Information conflicts from one source to the next, the full cost is not always clear at the start, and many schools do not accept external candidates at all.
London Elite Exams was set up to make that process transparent, fairly priced and straightforward, from the first enquiry to results day.
What we do — and what we do not
We do
- Confirm the right specification, option and tier with you before anything is entered.
- Make your entry with the awarding body through a JCQ-registered partner centre, before the deadline.
- Secure your seat and send your Statement of Entry, timetable and centre details.
- Arrange access arrangements where the evidence supports them — they are approved by the centre and the awarding body under JCQ rules, not by us.
- Pass on your results and certificates when the awarding body releases them.
We do not
- Set, mark or grade examinations — the awarding bodies do.
- Teach or tutor.
- Run an examination hall of our own.
Where you sit your exam
Every candidate we enter sits at a JCQ-registered partner examination centre in London, under the same JCQ regulations and invigilation as a school's own candidates. We work with partner centres across London; your centre and its address are confirmed to you in writing once your booking is paid.

Once the fee has been received in full, we submit your entry to the awarding body through the partner centre.

It carries your candidate number, papers, dates and centre details.

Exam day to results day
You sit your papers at the partner centre; we pass on your results and certificate.

Payment that is clear
Fees are normally payable in full when you book. For candidates booking well ahead of the deadline we may agree an instalment plan at our discretion, confirmed in writing.
