Who needs private exam invigilation

Universities and professional bodies frequently need a candidate supervised somewhere other than their own campus — a distance learner sitting a module exam, a student on placement, a resit taken away from the institution, or a candidate abroad relative to the awarding institution.

The requirement is almost always the same: a neutral venue, an invigilator with no relationship to the candidate, identity verified against a document, the paper kept secure before and after, and a report returned to the institution confirming the conditions were met.

How it works in practice

The institution sends the paper and its conditions directly to us — not to the candidate. We confirm the date and time, verify identity on the day, invigilate for the specified duration, and return the completed script by the method the institution requires, with a report of the session.

The paperwork is the part that matters. An institution will not accept a script from a session it cannot audit, so agreeing the conditions in writing before the day is not bureaucracy, it is the whole service.
